We send your claim directly to Discovery for real-time processing while you wait — no paperwork on your end.

Confirmed, or Pay by Card

If Discovery confirms payment, you're done. If we don't receive confirmation, you'll be asked to pay by card to keep your appointment.

💡 Either way, your appointment goes ahead as booked. Payment method never changes the care you receive.
⛔ Who can use Discovery medical aid for this consultation? Only the principal/main member or a registered dependent recorded on the Discovery-administered scheme may be billed for the consultation — the patient's name and SA ID number must appear on the scheme's current membership records.
  • You may not use a family member's medical aid if they have not been formally registered as a dependent on that scheme.
  • Submitting a claim outside these rules constitutes medical aid fraud, a criminal offence under the Medical Schemes Act 131 of 1998.
